Hello,

I am a mother of four and have always had a special place in my heart for children, for the suffering, and the helpless. The formation of this Organization began in late 2006, after experiencing my own struggles and once again finding that the help and resources for my situation were limited to none.  

After growing up with many hardships, and facing various trials as a mother, I wanted my children to have it better than I did.  I realized through our hardships that there are so many needs that children suffer from that are often over looked, and I wanted to make a difference. I really thought that getting people to share this vision would be difficult, but many others share this concern.

We see how important it is for us to reach out into the children in our community, to support and educate, to provide financial assistance, and to promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of children. We better ourselves by reaching out to others, and by caring for those who are less fortunate than us.

We thought at first that our mission needed to be focused directly on one cause, which began with  efforts to provide dental and orthodontic education, and financial assistance. Proper dental and orthodontic care is vey important need, and this is one of our primary missions with in our programs. 

The truth is these children face many obstacles in life that are looked over. There are many opportunities for success that they miss out on. "We Make Smiles Happen," has developed in to much more than our vision to provide braces, dental education, and care.
